PROJECT 1: CONTEXTUAL ARCHITECTURE STUDY

As for the introductory project  we were tasked, In a group of 6,to study a building in Asia within the sub-urban context through observation and readings on contemporary architecture practices and issues in asia. The building that we selected was The Spring House in Guiren Blvd, Guiren District, Tainan City, Taiwan 711. Based on the selected building, each individual was required to  conduct anaysis on its contextual architecture elements as follows:

Skyline, COmpression and Height

Features related to the form of the building

Building material and systems

Image Making Elements

PROJECT 2: CASE STUDY REPORT

In a group of 6, we are required to identify a specific topic / issues/ significance of study and to define the specific scope of study. As a continuation of the first project we need to create a concept mapping, and it must include the proposed research title and research questions, in order to give an overview of the 2000 word proposed case study paper.
