ONLINE FORUM DISCUSSION

Where we are today in terms of architecture or for any other matter, can only be creditted for what has happened in the past.

History difines the present and culture has stood strong against the tides of evolution.

 Objectives

1. To introduce basic architectural theory through a consideration of intentions, concepts, patterns, disciplines, architectural language and contextual relationships.

2. To creatively and innovatively develop and expand the design concept derived from the precedent study analysis.

Learning outcome:

1. To produce building analysis which document intentions, concepts, patterns, disciplines, architectural language and contextual relationships.

2. To produce graphical development, expansion and elaboration of intentions, concepts, patterns, disciplines, architectural language and contextual relationships as integration to design project.

With that said, a group of 5 were allocated a certain historical and culturally enriched building. Afterwhich we were to then carry out intensive research and analyze almost every aspect of the preselected bulding.

After the primilinary reserach and data had been collected, were then tasked to complie and display all the infomation on a online forum in a manner of a report.

Each individual had 5 questions to pick from, and my chosen;

2.

i. Where and when was the building built?

   ii. How the context, building period and evolution makes the building                historically significant and meaningful?

On the left is the precident report based on my individual question.
