Being the only assignment in this module, we were required to construct, direct and produce a short film regarding a perticular topic relating to plaging of the environment. As a group we brain stormed to depict what would be the most suitable environmental hazard. It didn't take long to come about, as currently, during the time of the project, our country was subduded to the settle of haze due to forest fires and slash n burn techniques in a neighbouring country. Therefore we felt as though it was the most approprite kind of video and issues to address, as it could be related to everyone locally going through the same situation. 

 

Based on this assignment I not only learned the local issues regarding air pollution but other aspects of air pollution and its knock on effects as well. Furtheremore, having had the chance to act in this film was definately interesting as I learned new things infront of the camera. It was a challange at first, especially, trying to minimize dialogues and focus majority on actions, however at the end we were happy with the outcome, and definately were hoping that our video would spread awareness to the haze levels in Malaysia.
